Washington Redskins: Anthony Armstrong, SportsJourney – NFL Week 3 Picks
- Updated: September 28, 2011
This past week during two of the SportsJourney Broadcast Network shows, the host, Lake Lewis, and his guests made their Week 3 NFL picks. It was an interesting endeavor. Not only were opinions given on what teams would win each game, opinions were given on each other’s selections.
“Aw, c’mon. You have got to be kidding me!”
“Do you just feel like losing???”
The discussion became animated at times.
On Monday night, Jarman Gant of “The Sideline Haters,” Lewis and I offered our picks. The input from the crowd out at Vintage 50 Restaurant in Leesburg, Va. was interesting and energetic as was that of the show’s chat-box residents.
On Tuesday night during The Anthony Armstrong Show, the wide receiver and former teammate Selvish Capers were on hand with Lewis at Spanky’s Shenanigans Pub also in Leesburg, Va. Armstrong and Capers added their picks to ours from Monday night.
Being professional football players, it was interesting to hear their picks with the different perspective they have from the rest of us.
Some of the fans who follow the SportsJourney shows texted or tweeted me this week and asked me to post the results of the “poll.” In addition, some of the fans in the chat-box volunteered their predictions of the final score Monday night when the Redskins and the arch-rival Dallas Cowboys meet on the national stage.
We’ll see how everyone does!

These are a couple of the final score predictions for Monday nights huge match-up between the Redskins and the cowboys from the chat-box that I was able to retrieve before the broadcast ended. I apologize to the rest of the folks whose scores I couldn’t retrieve before we went off the air.

Who will end up as the new “NFLstrodamus?”
