The Washington Redskins announced today that they have made the following roster moves in advance of their Sunday game against the New York Jets.

The Redskins placed 14-year tight end Vernon Davis on the reserve/injured list and signed defensive end Ryan Bee from the practice squad.

Davis, 35, has missed the past six games since suffering a concussion in a Week 4 loss to the New York Giants. The University of Maryland product has only been able to produce 10 receptions for 123 yards and one touchdown on the season.

For his career, Davis has amassed 583 receptions for 7,562 yards to go along with 63 touchdowns. He’s been a two-time Pro Bowl selection (2009, 2013 seasons).

Bee, 24, is a rookie out of Marshall. The 6’7″ 280-pound lineman showed potential throughout the team’s training camp and preseason. He will have a chance to get reps this week if starting defensive tackle Daron Payne misses time with an ankle injury.
