Sergio began his broadcasting career in 1992 during his college days at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey where he hosted a 3 hour sports talk show three times a week. He was named the 2007 New Jersey State coach of the year for the Newark Academy High School girls softball team. For the last couple of years Sergio has been the Executive Director of Hispanices Across America, a non-profit organization which involves itself in issues that affect the Hispanic community.
