The 2015 NBA Playoffs are finally here for the Washington Wizards and what once seemed like a promising season could end up a quick exit in the postseason.

The team started the 2014-2015 campaign strong and, heading into December, there was chatter around the beltway that this team could be a solid contender in the mediocre Eastern Conference.

That has all changed however.

The team sputtered throughout the second half of the season and Head Coach Randy Wittman could be fighting to retain his job although nothing has been said by team owner Ted Leonsis.

Point guard and Wizards’ star John Wall, who at times has carried the team on his back, has put together another stellar season.

But in order for the Wizards to get past the first round they will have to get past a Toronto Raptors team that has, for all intents and purposes, owned them during the regular season.

As a matter of fact, Washington has had a tough go of it against the Eastern Conference’s top four seeds.
