In a tweet that posted a day before training camp began for the Washington Redskins, linebacker Junior Galette wrote a conciliatory message to the team.

The team signed the free agent two days into last year’s training camp and a few days later he injured his Achilles and was lost for the season. Just days before the start of this year’s camp Galette injured his opposite leg with the same injury… a torn Achilles.

The team initially signed him to a two-year deal and for two straight seasons they have not had a player they were counting on take one snap.

Gillette is obviously aware of that and offered this response via his Twitter page:
